This new 23-story residential-over-retail building offers a beautiful garden mezzanine and spectacular views of the downtown San Jose skyline. With hundreds of trades-people working at the same time, it was critical that we maintained the General Contractor’s schedule and phased our work so we had one team sanding right behind the tapers while other teams were priming and painting on different floors. This project included painting, wallcovering, elastomeric coating, and concrete floor sealers, and work at both the interior and exterior. The exterior work required fall-protection, for which all of our painters are certified. All of our foreman are trained to handle multi-level projects, and our foreman on this job also handled the safety requirements for the project. We completed this job incident- and injury-free, the goal we set for all of our jobs.
